Film Title Sequences:
The title sequence, was created by production company Th1ng , this follows a dripping trail of blood from Sweeney Todd's chair, down to the basement where the pies are made and beyond...
I think that this sequence is really unique, and I like the way that the blood has been shown, it adds a real depth towards the film. I also think that the film has some great visuals, and those in the title sequence let you anticipate what's to come, and it really good in that sense. Overall, I think that Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street, title sequence is really interesting, with great visuals and a really interesting score a swell. |
The idea here is to convey Lisbeth, a hacker, trapped inside of a bad dream by visualising her subconscious. Blur’s use of a black-based palette and rim lighting keeps everything very stylised throughout. The CG was created using a combination of different 3D software including 3DS Max, Vray and RealFlow. All very high-end, which makes the production work very ambitious. |

Robert Dawson’s title sequence for Edward Scissorhands has all the meticulous detail and matching heart of his best work: anthropomorphic steampunk featuring fantastic tinkerings and riveted, wrought-iron cadavers (including production-line shells exhaling through knived teeth) in a wonderful blue-lit thalassic hue.]
I think that the title sequence for Edward Scissorhands, is again rather interesting and unique to Tim Burton's style. The score by Danny Elfman is again unique to Tim Burton's style of movies. I think one of the reasons I love the Beetlejuice title sequence so much is because it's a mind trick. You think you’re sweeping over a New England town in an elaborate aerial shot and ending with a spider crawling on the roof of a house. First you might think this is a giant spider movie, until then you realize that you’ve been duped and it’s just in fact a scaled down model. This is now a model of an entire town, which is actually a big importance in the film. Not to mention another classic Danny Elfman score.

Final Destination 4, has to be one of my favourite title sequences. I think the reason I like this title sequence so much, is because of the fact that it shows all the recent deaths through the first three films, this then sets you up for the fourth film.
I also really like how it has been created, ie the way is has been put together from seeing a rib cage, then turing into a track which a roller coaster is on the transition is so smooth. The visuals are truly stunning. The Spiderman opening title sequence is really interesting and when you see just a tiny bit of it, you know that it's spiderman. I think the reason it's so recognisable is because of the typeface that is used for the title and the actors and actresses names. I also think that it helps to see the web and little bits of Spiderman, himself from seeing his hand - to body - outfits and even his enemies. I really find this title sequence to be unique and would have been very interesting to create.
